Florida Wildlife Hospital & Sanctuary, Inc., (FWH) is dedicated to Florida’s wildlife in need. The hospital is open 365 days a year to admit wildlife patients, and cares for approximately 5,000 patients annually.
While FWH is licensed by state and federal government agencies, it receives no government funding. FWH relies on donations and grants to accomplish its mission: To aid injured, sick and orphaned native Florida wildlife and migratory birds, and return them to the ecosystem.
Legacy contributions enable Florida Wildlife Hospital & Sanctuary, Inc., to continue restoring health to Brevard’s wildlife with release back to the environment, as well as providing educational programs throughout Brevard County to raise conservation awareness and appreciation for the wildlife treasured in Brevard County.
