An Everlasting Gift, A Volunteer’s Legacy: John and Nancy Dornbos Charitable Fund
Nancy Dornbos was an active volunteer with many worthy organizations, yet it was Daily Bread that captured her heart in a very special way. Introduced to the organization by her son, Nancy quickly recognized the need and how she could help, and became a regular – volunteering Tuesdays, twice a month for more than 10 years.
When Nancy passed away, our community and Daily Bread lost a much-loved and faithful volunteer. But as part of her estate planning, Nancy made provisions to support the Daily Bread’s mission each year through the endowed John and Nancy Dornbos Charitable Fund.
Nancy’s compassion and generous gifts she gave during her lifetime will echo through her legacy, now and forever.
