In 1981, a wave of inspired Brevard County leaders established the Community Foundation, believing that organized and endowed philanthropy is essential to the health and vitality of our community. Those waves have never stopped.
For over three decades the Foundation has served a wide range of community needs including arts & culture, economic & workforce development, education, environmental & animal welfare, health and human service, and medical research. Together – as an individual or a corporate partner – we can make an even greater philanthropic impact on the Space Coast.

Members of the Third Wave provide valuable counsel and critical financial support, allowing us to promote engaged philanthropy across generations, ensure a vibrant independent sector of not-for-profit organizations, and help us further our work to make a difference in the lives of many in Brevard and beyond.
