President and CEO, Community Foundation for Brevard – 

An exciting, challenging opportunity exists for the right qualified, proven candidate for the position of President and CEO of the Community Foundation for Brevard located in Melbourne, Florida. Managing $10.5 million in assets, the Foundation is well-positioned to have an increasingly significant and ongoing impact on the quality of life for the citizens of Brevard County. 

The person selected for this important role will be both the principal ambassador and public spokesperson for the organization in strengthening existing and nurturing new relationships with community and corporate leaders, as well as donors. The role is accountable to lead the collaborative process with the Board to refine and execute the vision and strategy of the organization in the near and long-term future. This includes major fund-raising efforts to expand the reach and effectiveness of the Foundation throughout Brevard County.

Candidates for consideration are expected to have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy, Management, Business or a related field, with a Master’s Degree preferred. An established, successful record as a senior leader historically accomplishing both strategic and operational goals and objectives consistently is also required. The successful candidate will preferably have ten to fifteen years of not-for-profit or comparable organizational experience. Outstanding interpersonal and public speaking skills are required, as well as, documented success as a substantial fundraiser and financial manager.
