To date in 2011, the Community Foundation awarded more than $225,000 to grants and scholarships bringing the five year total to just more than $8 million dollars to community programs and institutions. Most of these grants have been awarded from donor-advised and designated funds on recommendation by the donor.

Nonprofit organizations throughout Brevard County picked up more than 140 computers donated by Percepta at its facility in Melbourne on March 10 and March 11.
